At first, she was dissuaded by the violence and nudity but the characters' development as well as the feminist aspect helped to convince her. Butler played Jennifer Hills, a writer who gets victimized by a gang in a cabin. She is the character who seeks revenge against her attackers. Steven R. Monroe, director of the film, announced it on the 8th October 2010. Butler began shooting The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller that starred Estella Warr and William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain, in November 2011. The plan was to shoot at Copenhagen Denmark, New York City and New York City as well. Butler appeared in The Demented 2013, a horror feature starring Michael Welch and KaylaEwell.

Jodelle Ferland is an actor from Canada who has a wealth of $4 million. Jodelle was born Nanaimo British Columbia Canada, in 1994. She began appearing in commercials as a young girl. At the age of four, Ferland had made her television as well as film debut with an appearance in Mermaid.
