Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 in an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at the Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
